Truss price is determined not by the building area, but by structural requirements. These are the factors that change the result.
Span affects the price the most. The greater the distance between supports, the higher the truss, thicker elements, and larger connection plates. Increasing the span from 8 to 12 meters changes the price more than extending the building by the same four meters.
The number of trusses results from the building length. The calculation uses a 900 mm truss spacing, so for every 900 mm of building length, one truss is added, plus an end truss.
The pitch changes the truss height and element length. A steeper roof means more material per truss.
The roof load assumed in the calculation is 0.30 kN/m², which corresponds to a light metal roof covering. A heavier roof - clay or concrete tiles, or even a double layer covering - exceeds this load, and the structure must be recalculated. This is also the most common question we are asked, so it is worth specifying the planned covering in the application.
Solar panel load is not included in the calculation. If panels are planned, the structure must be recalculated and the price will be higher than the calculator's result. Solar panels are planned in approximately every sixth request, so it is worth specifying them immediately.
The price is also affected by snow load depending on the region, wind load, roof installations and equipment supported by the structure.
Delivery and Installation are separate services, clearly itemized in the quote. If Installation is carried out by the Tenter team, fasteners and bracing are already included in the Installation price.

If the slope exceeds 25 degrees and the span simultaneously exceeds 12 meters, the calculator does not show a price and invites you to apply for an individual calculation. There is not enough data for this combination to make the price sufficiently accurate.

No, the calculator's price does not include delivery. We provide delivery throughout Latvia, and unloading at the site is included in the delivery service. Transportation costs are calculated individually based on the location of the object and the volume of trusses.
Yes. Installation is an additional service performed by the Tenter team. Fasteners and bracing are included in the Installation price.
The calculator calculates gable roof trusses for buildings with a length from 4 to 50 meters, with a truss span from 6 to 20 meters, and a roof pitch from 15 to 30 degrees. If the pitch exceeds 25 degrees and the span is simultaneously greater than 12 meters, the calculator does not show a price - for this combination, the structure must be evaluated individually.
Usually 3-4 weeks after project and order approval. During the active construction season, the term may extend up to 6 weeks.
Wooden roof trusses have a 60-month (5-year) structural warranty.
In many projects, yes. Metal and glued beams can often be replaced with a custom-designed wooden truss solution. We evaluate each case individually - based on span, loads, and roof geometry. Send us the project, and we will tell you if the solution fits.
Yes. For such solutions, we use Scissor type trusses. They allow for large spaces with open ceilings without additional load-bearing partitions.
Trusses up to approximately 3.20 m in height are delivered in one piece. Larger trusses are designed in several parts and assembled on site.
Yes. The calculator only needs three dimensions. The indicative price is for this moment when you need to understand what costs to expect before design begins. For a precise offer, a project or at least a sketch is needed.
