Wooden Truss Production

1. Roof Truss Design

Every roof structure project is unique, so the first step of each order is project creation. Our experienced colleagues have created a significant number of important projects, so our main task is to create a wooden truss solution that precisely meets the client's needs, and the wooden truss price can be adjusted to your budget.

In design, we use the world's best and most recognized roof truss design software, PAMIR, which allows you to see a 3D model of your roof structure before ordering.

2. Roof Truss Production

We start roof truss production with material procurement. We select timber from the most reliable suppliers, who always deliver the highest quality C24 class dried, visually graded, and planed timber.

The next step in wooden truss production is material preparation and cutting to size according to the developed and agreed project.

The final step in the roof truss production process is the creation of a truss shape template on a special base. When the timber is assembled into the required shape, our colleagues place metal plates in the project-specified locations, which are pressed into the timber with a hydraulic press.

We follow this process for each necessary truss within a specific project to produce all required roof timber trusses.

In the production process, we always strictly adhere to the standard specified by EN 14081-2005-2866-CPR-0033.

3. Roof Truss Delivery

We always agree on the delivery time and date with our clients, and if necessary, we can store the trusses so that the client has the opportunity to prepare for the installation of roof timber trusses.

4. Roof Truss Installation

Truss installation is a relatively simple and quick process. The Tenter team offers two types of roof structure installation:

1. The client has the option to install the timber trusses themselves or with their partners – if necessary, the TENTER team will consult you before truss installation and provide a plan that will help assemble the roof trusses. We also offer necessary construction hardware for installation to our clients, with prior agreement.

2. TENTER installation team – professional roof truss installation is what will help you provide your project with a roof structure in a short time. Our experience in truss installation ranges from the simplest private houses or garages to complex roof structure projects.

Roof Truss Types

Eco – is the most cost-effective type of truss both in terms of price and performance. This type of solution has excellent load-bearing capacity – there is sufficient height at the support point, the side overhang eaves are created simultaneously with the load-bearing structure, there is enough space for insulation at the wall, with the possibility of creating larger overhangs without significantly increasing the cost of the roof structure.

Duo – standard type trusses, can be formed up to 35m.

Stubbed Duo – Similar to Duo type trusses – With posts at the support points, which increases the truss's load-bearing capacity. Simultaneously creates the necessary height for full insulation in the ceilings.

Attic – Attic type truss, formed in the middle part of the truss without ties, creating space for storage or habitable rooms.

Stubbed Attic – Similar to Attic type trusses, but with posts at the support points, which increases the truss's load-bearing capacity.

Mono – Used for shallow roofs – compared to Duo type trusses, the load-bearing capacity of these trusses is relatively lower.

Stubbed Mono – Similar to a Mono type truss, but with vertical members at support points, which increases the truss's load-bearing capacity.

Flat – Trusses are used both as a roof structure (slopes are created on-site) and as intermediate floor decking. As a benefit, we can mention that ventilation and other necessary solutions can be installed through the truss structure.

Stubbed modified – Used for the construction of hangar warehouses and other buildings, creating both wall and roof structures. Such solutions are most often created in large spans, and for transportation purposes, the structure is made of several parts, which are fastened on-site according to the manufacturer's information.

Scissor –  Creates sloped ceilings, which give a feeling of a more spacious room. Most often used by combining Duo and Scissor trusses, where the Scissor solution is created in the living area, and standard horizontal ceilings are created in other rooms.

Parallel – This type of construction is used to create ceilings with the same slope as the roof. There are 2 types of constructions:

  1. When creating a truss with haunches – a larger construction height is required;
  2. When creating a truss without haunches – a relatively small height is required.
